DUBLIN, Monday 23 July 2012 – Leading IT security services provider, Ward Solutions, today announced that it is to increase its workforce by 50 per cent. The company plans to invest €3 million and create 20 new jobs for highly qualified and experienced information security professionals and sales staff. This news follows the doubling in size of its Dublin Citywest information security facility where the jobs will be based. The news was welcomed at today’s event by the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton TD.
Speaking at the official opening of the new Ward Solutions facilities, Minister Bruton said: “Key to the Government’s plans for jobs and growth is building on our achievements in attracting world-leading multinationals to provide more benefits for the domestic economy and in particular Irish companies. If we are to create a powerful engine of indigenous business, we must ensure that more Irish companies can succeed and grow in sectors like ICT, pharmaceuticals and medical devices where we have world-leading multinational companies carrying out high-value activities here. Today’s announcement that Ward Solutions, an innovative Irish IT security company built on multinational clients and impressive export growth, is investing €3 million in expanding its activities and creating 20 jobs is a very welcome sign of what is possible in this field.
