It’s cybersecurity awareness month and we want to test your knowledge on security. Follow us on our channels LinkedIn & Twitter and share your thoughts.

We’re on Week 4 of Cyber Security Awareness Month, let’s do a quick recap of Week 3.

Our first question last week was:

Answer: 4) !Lov3MyPiano We recommend that you generate passphrases that are easy to associate in your mind and are personal to you. These are much easier to remember and difficult for computers to guess. Also, do not use the same passwords in all your accounts and use a multi-factor authentication when possible.

Check out our blog on Forgot your password? We’ve all been there!

      Next question in the series:

Answer: Never, your bank should never ask you to confirm personal information via a call so if you do get a call from them, this can be a Vishy scam and we advise you to be very careful with the information you share. Ask them questions on why they require this data and for what purpose, do not share any piece of information if you’re not comfortable sharing them.

We’ve selected three quotes last week that makes perfect sense in the big dark world.

“Security is not about making IT perfect, but making customer lastingly satisfied and confident.” – Stephane Nappo

“As the world is increasingly interconnected, everyone shares the responsibility of securing cyberspace.” – Newton Lee

“If you spend more on coffee than on IT security, you will be hacked. What’s more, you deserve to be hacked.” – Richard Clarke
