Ward Solutions have just completed an engagement to assist the Irish Centre for High End Computing (ICHEC) in formulating their strategy for 2009-2013 as part of their business planning and funding application process to Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) and the Higher Education Authority (HEA).
The Irish Centre for High-End Computing (ICHEC) aims to fulfil the role of
supply of High End Computing resources and expertise of Ireland. By providing these
resources, facilities and expertise ICHEC aims to enable the research community to perform
internationally competitive research and attract the best computational scientists.
The engagement leveraged our domain expertise and experience in the higher education and research sector as well as our Strategic ICT consulting services to understand ICHEC's business and their objectives as well as delivering an accepted strategy in aggressive timeframes.
