ICT Security Consultant/Engineer

Ward Solutions are a well established Security Systems Integration and Consultancy Provider located in Citywest Dublin, Ireland. We have an opening for an experienced and highly qualified ICT Security specialist to work in our security practice. Candidates will be required to work for clients on a hybrid client/employer site basis - project dependent.

The candidate will report to the practice manager and will be responsible for providing a wide range of security services to existing and new national and international customers, including:

Network and Application Security Assessment, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing Services

ICT Security Risk Assessment and Mitigation planning

Design and implementation of security & Compliance frameworks and management systems

Design and implementation of ICT Security Architecture(s) and Solutions

Requirements

Ideally the candidate should have a minimum of 4-5 years experience in information security, with as many of the following key skills as possible:

In-depth working knowledge of TCP/IP, Switching, Routing, and associated network protocols

Security Architecture and Security infrastructure implementations including firewalls, remote-access solutions, PKI Solutions, Security Hardening of Windows, UNIX and Network Devices

Hands-on experience with Network, Host and Application Penetration testing (Previous development experience is also useful for Application Penetration Testing but not a requirement)

Information Security Risk Assessments, Risk Management and Reporting (network, OS and application)

Security Management, Policies, Governance Frameworks, Security Programs

Hands-on experience with national and international information security, privacy standards and legislation (e.g. ISO27001, PCI DSS, Sarbanes Oxley)
