InterNetworking Engineer

Ward Solutions are a well established Security Systems Integration and Consultancy Provider located in Citywest Dublin, Ireland. We have an immediate opening for an Internetworking Engineer with well established Security Systems Integration and Consultancy Provider.

The successful candidate must have at least 5 years experience as a network engineer, configuring firewalls and maintaining customer networks and ensuring network security is required. Strong commercial experience working with various networking equipment (routers and switches), IP protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), router redundancy, load balancing, VPNs, ISDN, MPLS, Intrusion Detection Systems, Firewalls and Spanning Tree are also required skills.

Duties, Responsibilities and Experience

Ideally the candidate should have a minimum of 4-5 years experience in information security, with as many of the following key skills as possible:

Strong Network Backround with excellent troubleshooting skills
Ability to design, install and troubleshoot Cisco Routers, Switches & Firewalls
Fortinet Family
Checkpoint Firewalls
Design, management and implementation of network Solutions
Design and implementation of secure wireless network infrastructure an advantage.
Extensive experience of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, DNS, IPSEC, RADIUS and other common network standards.
Investigating and proposing new technologies and standards to improve the security of the clients IT Infrastructure
Cisco certified to CCNP level a distinct advantage.
Checkpoint CCSE / CCMA certified a distinct advantage.
Fortigate Certification a distinct advantage
Vmware & Microsoft Hyper V Experience is desirable
Good solid understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Server based operating systems
